2024 Youth Video Contest: Focus on Safety

Focus on Safety Youth Video Contest

Work can be an exciting part of life, but no injury or illness makes any paycheque worth it.

We invite you to use your creativity to develop an original video that illustrates the importance of working safely on the job. Help us get the word out about why we need to stay healthy and safe at work, so we all can enjoy our lives to the fullest.

How to enter

Visit the contest page for the province where you live  and follow the instructions to enter your video. Note that each province has set its own deadline.

Is your province not holding a contest? No worries! You can enter our Regional Qualifier.

Win your provincial contest or the Regional Qualifier, and you automatically move on to the national contest, where our panel of judges will determine the best of the best. The team/individual with the first place video in the national finals will win $2,000, second place will receive $1,500 and third place will receive $1,000. Plus each winning school will receive a matching prize.
