ERGONOMICS

Ergonomics is a science that matches the work to the worker. It's primary goal is to determine what physical demands will be placed upon a person as a result of a given set of tasks. These demands are compared to the person's physical capabilities. If the task's demands exceed the person's capabilities, the tasks are examined, and made to better fit the capabilities of the workforce.
